African Centre for Technical Training
ACTT exists to close the gap between youth unemployment and skills shortages by rebuilding trust, standards, and dignity in technical work—starting in Ghana, with a vision for scale across Africa.
Across Sub-Saharan Africa, young people are eager to work while employers struggle to find skilled, reliable talent. We address this structural failure through high-quality, demand-driven technical training that leads directly to decent livelihoods and a more productive economy.
Since launching in 2023, ACTT has demonstrated that a different TVET model is possible:
We are raising Unrestricted Funding to scale from proof of concept to systems-level impact.

Our Non-Profit was established to drive access, inclusion, and innovation in Africa’s technical education landscape.
To promote inclusive access to technical and vocational opportunities for underserved and vulnerable populations, particularly youth, women, and persons with disabilities.
To build strong, self-reliant communities by nurturing grassroots leadership, supporting local philanthropy, and fostering social entrepreneurship.
To support climate-resilient livelihoods by investing in green innovation, sustainable community projects, and environmental education.

More than just a financial aid, these scholarships are a statement of belief in each trainee’s potential. They open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance—enabling them to build sustainable livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to their families and society.
By integrating experiential learning into TVET, we are helping trainees move beyond theory and into transformation. They leave our programs not just trained, but truly prepared—ready to meet industry demands, seize job opportunities, or start their own ventures.
Many young people in our region face barriers to acquiring employable skills due to the lack of adequate training infrastructure. Existing facilities are often outdated, overcrowded, or ill-equipped, limiting the quality and relevance of training. Without access to proper workshops, tools, and learning spaces, trainees struggle to gain the practical, hands-on experience that is essential for success in TVET.
We are inviting passionate, purpose-driven individuals like you to be part of this mission by volunteering your time and talents.
“At the heart of our work lies a powerful belief: that every individual deserves the opportunity to transform their potential into purpose”
