Meet Fafa, an inspiring member of our community at ACTT. Despite his hearing and speech impairment, he is an active participant in our Plumbing Systems Design program. With the assistance of Janet, our Sign Language Interpreter, Fafa excels in both theory and practical sessions. Currently a Teacher at the School of Deaf in Mampong, his goal is to be able to support his community’s plumbing needs. #CraftingDreams #Inclusion #ACTT

Behind every inclusive environment is a team who makes it possible. We were truly fortunate to have Janet Augustt and all our other staff and facilitators who made sure to involve Fafa in every activity including career workshops and Christmas events.
As a sign language translator at ACTT, Janet brought more than just a skill. She brought empathy, excellence, and an unwavering belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
Her work helped shape a learning environment where accessibility and belonging were not just goals but realities. Inclusivity is not just a value at ACTT, it is a lived commitment, and Janet’s impact continues to remind us of its power.

We refuse to leave anyone behind. Our campus is disability friendly, and ACTT promotes a culture of inclusion so that everyone can have a place.
