African Centre for Technical Training
The African Center for Technical Training (ACTT) has established itself as a leading institution in Ghana dedicated to providing technical skills training, youth empowerment, and employment support. As part of its strategic vision to deepen its impact and foster long-term sustainability, ACTT has established the ACTT Foundation—a philanthropic arm that supports, sustains, and scales up innovative training and empowerment initiatives across Ghana and beyond.
To be a leading foundation in Africa that empowers underserved communities through inclusive, sustainable, and innovative technical and vocational training initiatives.
To mobilize resources, foster partnerships, and implement high-impact projects that enhance technical skills development, promote job creation, and improve livelihoods across Africa.
For bright but needy students in technical training programs.
Bringing training to underserved communities.
Promoting digital skills for girls and women
Meet Fafa, an inspiring member of our community at ACTT. Despite his hearing and speech impairment, he is an active participant in our Plumbing Systems Design program.
Established as the philanthropic arm of ACTT, the ACTT Foundation was created to drive accessibility, inclusivity, and innovation in Ghana’s technical education landscape.
To promote inclusive access to technical and vocational opportunities for underserved and vulnerable populations, particularly youth, women, and persons with disabilities.
To build strong, self-reliant communities by nurturing grassroots leadership, supporting local philanthropy, and fostering social entrepreneurship.
To support climate-resilient livelihoods by investing in green innovation, sustainable community projects, and environmental education.
More than just a financial aid, these scholarships are a statement of belief in each student’s potential. They open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance—enabling students to build sustainable livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to their families and society.
By integrating experiential learning into TVET, we are helping students move beyond theory and into transformation. They leave our programs not just trained, but truly prepared—ready to meet industry demands, seize job opportunities, or start their own ventures.
Many young people in our region face barriers to acquiring employable skills due to the lack of adequate training infrastructure. Existing facilities are often outdated, overcrowded, or ill-equipped, limiting the quality and relevance of training. Without access to proper workshops, tools, and learning spaces, students struggle to gain the practical, hands-on experience that is essential in the TVET ecosystem.
We’re inviting passionate, purpose-driven individuals like you to be part of this mission by volunteering your time and talents.
“At the heart of our foundation lies a powerful belief: that every individual deserves the opportunity to transform their potential into purpose”
